A reboot cancels work in progress and closes dozens of open web sites which are my reminders of things that I am researching or considering. I used it for a while, but found it annoying that it required immediate re boots, rather than fixing the items that did not require reboot, and giving the user the option of rebooting when convenient.
Immediate reboot requirement is disruptive.
